Researchers found that the rate of US and Canadian adolescents ages 16 to 19 who reported vaping during the past month increased by nearly 50% and almost twofold, respectively, from 2017 to 2018. The findings also showed that teen Juul e-cigarette use became more prevalent in all countries, with the rate of US youths with Juul as their preferred brand rising from 1% to 4.5% during the study period.
